Tax Mate is your Income Tax Calculator draws different factors together to help you understand
your income taxation and assist you to work out the net income after tax available towards living expenses, investing, retirement planning, etc.  
        
This smart tool  helps you to calculate the net and gross income at various periods for residents and non-residents based on the personal income tax rate tables obtained from the Australian Tax Office website.  Calculations do not include Medicare Levy or HECS payments. Calculations include 1.5% Medicare levy, do not include low income tax offset or Medicare surcharge. The income tax rates will depend on the income year you select and your residency status for income tax purposes during that income year.  Non-residents are taxed at a higher rate and are not entitled to a tax-free threshold. Part-year residents may be entitled to a part-year tax-free threshold.
